SIMPLE ACTS OF KINDNESS
Early in 2020, Melco Chairman and CEO Lawrence Ho mobilized the workforce, en masse, encouraging all Macau Colleagues to care for the community through ‘Simple Acts of Kindness’. Underpinning this principle is that little actions can have a big impact, and that each and every one of us can do something to positively impact the hearts and minds of those around us. The initiative earned recognition being the winner of the 2020 International Gaming Awards’ Industry Community Awards (ICA) – Asia, and Lawrence Ho was awarded ICA’s Outstanding Individual.
Following the incredible success in 2020, Melco decided to continue developing the below programs:
“As a company that was born in Macau, it is crucial to give back to the community. When the pandemic hit in 2020, we launched ‘Simple Acts of Kindness’ to encourage colleagues to participate in volunteerism.”
Mr. Lawrence Ho, Chairman & CEO, Melco Resorts & Entertainment
